Philippine Working Group (PWG)
The PWG serves the local host of the 2012 WSFM with Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA) as the Forum’s technical secretariat. The members of the PWG are comprised of CSOs, trade unions, faith based organizations, and members of the academia.
the technical secretariat looks after the daily implementation of the tasks in preparation for the WSFM. The technical secretariat implements the recommendations and decisions of the International Committee and works with the Philippine working group in the preparations for the WSFM. The technical secretariat also looks after daily communications, updating of the WSFM website, registration of participants and self organized activities and handling of the funds for the WSFM. The current technical secretariat for the 2012 WSFM is Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA).
responsible for defining the elements of the program and works in partnership with the International Committee to implement the themes set for the WSFM. The program committee will also look into creating guidelines for workshops and self organized activities. The program committee as well develops guidelines for speakers, rapporteurs and moderators for the all activities of the WSFM.
Migrant Forum in Asia
A regional network of migrants organizations, migrants rights advocates, trade unions, grassroots organizations, faith based organizations and individuals working to protect and promote the rights of migrants workers and members of their families.

Center for Migrant Advocacy
The Center for Migrant Advocacy (CMA-Phils) is an advocacy group that promotes the rights of overseas Filipinos - land based or sea based migrant workers and Filipino Immigrants and their families. CMA works to improve the economic, social and political conditions of migrant workers, families of migrants through policy advocacy, information dissemination, networking, capability building and direct assistance
Building and Woodworkers International (BWI)
A Global Union Representing 12 million workers in 127 countries, the BWI is the Global Union Federation grouping Free and Democratic Unions with members in the Building, Building Materials, Wood, Forestry and Allied Sector
will look into networking and mobilization in the lead up to the forum. The Mobilization committee will also look into mobilizing participants for the mobilization / rally on 30 November 2012.
Alliance of Progressive Labor (APL)
The Alliance of Progressive Labor is committed to the advancement of Social Movement Unionism - a strategy directed at recognizing, organizing and mobilizing all types of workers and unions for engagements in different arenas of struggle.
Labor Education and Research Network (LEARN)
A non-government organization in the Philippines that provides various education and research services primarily to workers both from the private and public sectors and informal labor. LEARN is a member of the International Federation of Workers' Education Associations or IFWEA based in Capetown, South Africa.
will be working with the program committee in organizing the cultural activities for the WSFM. The cultural activities will be held daily during the forum.
Kanlungan Center
Kanlungan Centre Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization engaged in direct service, advocacy work, research, and policy interventions for Filipino migrant workers who are survivors of human trafficking, illegal recruitment, workplace abuse and non-payment of wages, as well as their families and their communities.
Focus on the Global South
Focus on the Global South (Focus) is a non-governmental organization with twenty staff working in Thailand, the Philippines and India. Focus was established in Bangkok in 1995 and is affiliated with the Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute. Focus combines policy research, advocacy, activism and grassroots capacity building in order to generate critical analysis and encourage debates on national and international policies related to corporate-led globalization, neo-liberalism and militarization.
will be looking after the narrative and video documentation of the program as well as the writing of the report of the program.
Association of Major Religious Superiors (AMSRPMC)
The Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines -Migrants Center (AMRSP-MC), is one of the Mission Partners of the Association that renders service for Migrants, Oversees Filipino Workers (OFW) and their families. Among its services is to provide continuous education and awareness to the Religious Members of the Association leading to active partnership/networking in the advocacy on the issues and concerns of the migrants and their families. The AMRSP-MC members are composed of representatives of AMRSP Member congregations who have apostolate and involvement with migrants and their families, for some members, they desire to be involved in the migrants’ apostolate with the hope of a dignified and just humane development.
Scalabrini Migration Center
Scalabrini Migration Center (SMC) is dedicated to the promotion of the interdisciplinary study of international migration, with a specific focus on migration questions in the Asia-Pacific region. Aside from research, SMC maintains a resource center specializing in migration literature, publishes the academic quarterly, Asian and Pacific Migration Journal, organizes training programs, advocates for the promotion of the rights of migrants, and builds networks with academic institutions civil society, international organizations and governments.
the media committee will look into the media publicity and media engagement necessary for the WSFM. The media engagement will be in the lead up to the WSFM as well as during the program itself.

FDC defines the economy and economic life of a society as those activities, relations, processes, policies and structures involved in and affecting the provisioning for human life in all its fullness, integrity and dignity.
Will look into the logistical concerns of the WSFM including logistical needs for the field visit and mobilization.

Mirriam College Women and Gender Institute (WAGI)
The Women and Gender Institute is Miriam College's center for research, training and advocacy on women's rights gender equality and non-sexist learning in support of the leadership of young women and students. WAGI forges links with other sectors, organizations and institutions at the national, regional and international levels.
